Its partner and owner, Robert Juan Castro, is graduated in Argentina as a Mechanic Technician and Technological Engineer. He held his specialization in weapons at Fabrica Militar de Armas Portáteis (FMAP) in the city of Rosário, where he took part in the manufacturing of the Fal rifle, the nationalization of both the Beretta shotgun and the Browning pistol.
In 1976, he was hired by the shotgun factory Boito, where he worked as the Industrial Director, collaborating in the project of the Miura Monotrigger Shotgun with over/under barrel.
In 1978, he started his job at Taurus Company6 as an Industrial Engineering Manager. Along the 15 years working at this company, he took part in important projects such as the launching of revolvers with 5 and 6 shots, the acquisition of Beretta, the implementation of the ISO 9000 system and setting of Taurus in Miami.
In 1991, he and Mrs Eliane Ely, with a solid experience in the financial area, founded COMBAT, a company specialized in developing and importing products for shooters with quality patterns and cometitive prices. The company works with a logistic of quickness and flexibility, integrated and coordinated, assisting the clients in a 24-hour deadline. Besides, COMBAT invests in a administrative and productive technologies, training and recycling its employees to meet the demands and expectations of all clients, making use of the experience in more than 30 years in the armament area and accessories for weapons.
